Grasshopper Group
From 3 months to 15 months approx. Birth to Three Matters is the main focus for all activities.
The baby unit consists of a main play room and a separate sleep room.
With only nine babies, this is a small group with three dedicated adult carers.
Before a baby starts with us we welcome parents to visit for settling in sessions with their baby (this is encouraged in all groups).This ensures greater consistency and exchange of information for when the baby starts.
A daily book goes home with the child each day where their sleeping, feeding and nappy change details are recorded along with any physical, language or developmental advances. Parents are also encouraged to make entries in the book.
Many of the activities and the equipment used promote their sensory functions and they are encouraged to relate to each other and to the adults.
